Of course, we are not just random people. We are all part from LESI-2000 ltd.- family company, which is the owner of the BulKey trademark. LESI is a high-tech company, founded in 1990, that provides a very wide range of products and services. The company has a 30-year history and owns two modern factories for the production of electronics in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Unfortunately, during our trips in Asia, South America, Europe…we were victims of pickpockets. It really messed up with our plans, and at the time there was no product on the market that can provide a reliable protection. Then we decided that we are going to create the best PICKPOCKET-PROTECTION WALLET in the world. In this way we can help more and more people to experience their vacation without constantly worrying about their wallet.
It took us more than 2 years and 4 prototypes to make the perfect Bulkey Code Wallet.

When we saw that there is no such product on the market, we decided to design and make one from scratch. We wanted to create a product so good that we ourselves are gonna use and be proud of.
Our experience in locking security systems helped us to fully understand the main problems with pickpockets.
- how to prevent anyone pinching a few bills from your wallet unnoticed?
- how to prevent somebody just grabbing your entire wallet and running?
From then on, we knew that we need to make a lockable wallet, that we can tie to our bags. But how can we do this?
from scratch
We designed the entire product from scratch – the design, the locking technology, the packaging etc.
During the manufacturing stage we even designed and created a robot that folds and thermo-seals the money divider. Furthermore, we automated most of the production stages such as 160 micro robots that are moving the locking wheels so they can be UV printed with the numbers.
quality and price
We ourselves are budget travelers and we knew that beside the high quality, we need to make the wallet also affordable, so everybody can own it. We believe that security and peace of mind are not luxury, but a basic human need.
To control the quality first hand, we decided that we want to produce the entire wallet in-house, so we don’t rely on other companies. LESI has a full production cycle, which means that we can manufacture almost every single part of Bulkey Code Wallet ourselves . Furthermore, by not being dependent on other companies, we can keep the price of the Wallet as low as possible! So, we knew that this was the way to go.
Nowadays we are proud to say that we produce every single part in our factory in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
